Since November of 2019, I have held two special appointments on the Judson ISD Board of Trustees with the single focus of providing our scholars - regardless of age- the very best opportunity to pursue their dreams and passions through education.
I chose to serve because we all have a moral imperative to build a stronger community. As a father, small business owner, EdTech executive, and fellow community member, I believe there is a better way and am determined to place Judson ISD on the trajectory toward it.
As the father of a 4-year-old and a 3-year-old with a baby on the way, I am especially vested in ensuring that Judson ISD becomes the strongest and best version of itself because all of our children deserve it.
We all deserve an educational system that serves the aspirations and potential of learners, the needs of our workforce and post-secondary institutions, and builds a stronger overall community - within Judson communities and beyond it.
I am focused on re-imaging the overall experience and re-building Judson ISD as a "Destination District" which can serve as a model for innovation, outcomes, and equitable education throughout the state. In this new and stronger version of Judson, student engagement, outcomes, and innovation are centered in the conversation.

As a parent to two (soon to be three!) wonderful children, I promise to work as hard for your children, grandchildren, and loved ones as I do for my own.
My parental lens is my strongest. It is what guides me to build a district that can engage our students and set them on a course toward success beyond the classroom.
As an executive of an EdTech (education technology) company and small business owner of a San Antonio-based company, I bring the perspective and belief that organizations must have critical conversations and make critical decisions even if outside of the norm. Innovation is key for the growth of any system.
I have also served our Greater San Antonio communities as a Director of Policy for the San Antonio City Council ensuring that we comprehensively and appropriately address quality of life issues.
I believe that one must be capable, humble, and strong enough to lead by serving others placing the good of the community above oneself.
My life career and personal life are centered at the intersection of where policy, business, and individual impact can serve people and help them grow into their full potential.
I have served in numerous local, state, and national non-profit, professional organizations, committees, and initiatives focused on bettering our communities in a number of ways.
I have served our greater communities for over 15 years in different capacities including on the boards of:
